Friday the 13th

 The moon is more full, and it is Friday the 13th, so I decided to go ahead with some work.

I put my remove blocks charm back on. Currently, I am experiencing much stress due to the fact that my aunt died. We were not close. She was not a nice person. The stress arises from my narcissist mother, who is making her sister's death all about her. My mother has come over repeatedly to ask about funeral arrangements. I don't think there will be a funeral because my aunt died in North Carolina and it is crazy expensive to ship a body across state lines. My mother doesn't want to hear this. She wants to go to the funeral so there will be some drama, then she'll have years worth of trauma to talk about. 

The other stressful thing my mother is doing, is offering me pictures. And if she would just let me look at the pictures, there wouldn't be a problem. But all my cousins are taking DNA tests and everyone in my generation is coming up 23% Nigerian. My mother has a very old photo album that belonged to her aunt. In the album is a tin type photo of a Black man in a suit. I believe he is the common ancestor. My mother hid the album from me. So she'll offer me pictures, but she won't remember what she's trying to hide. Then suddenly, she will remember that our racist family is Black. She will find an excuse to take the pictures back, such as saying she needs to write names or dates. Then she will give me a different set of pictures. Being senile, she forgets how many times she has done this. 

Every time I get a new picture, I put it on Facebook. So far, no one has asked any questions. Possibly, everyone is afraid I have the Black ancestor photo. 

I made the moon phase box. I decided to use a box I had, instead of painting/decorating a wooden box.

This works out better because this box is bigger. I can easily add crystals or other items. I will get more magnets for different moon phases. I may add charms to represent goals I am working on. 

I also made birthday candles, but I don't have pictures and I don't want to photograph anything else.
