Good morning, my dears. I hope all of you are well. I feel better overall, though I occasionally get hit by one of my many medical conditions. The endocrinologist now has me taking my long lasting insulin in the morning. Every couple of years, a doctor will suggest that I take insulin in the morning, or midday. It makes me feel sick. All day long, I will want to vomit, but I never throw up. It's sort of like having morning sickness. The first day that I went to morning insulin injections, my sugar dropped every two hours, regardless of what I ate. It was horrible. I am not supposed to drive if my sugar drops below 70. I stayed in the 45-60 range. So the next day, I took less insulin, which didn't help much. I have discovered taking insulin in the mornings makes me cold and sleepy. I am slowly experimenting to figure out amount/time. And this will go on until my sugars start doing something different; then my endo will ask why I am taking insulin in the morning when I s...
