 Life has been chaotic, thus I completely forgot to post anything on the new moon. Or first quarter. And now the moon grows full again.  My mother has been giving me pictures. I discovered that she made multiple copies of things. Pictures for relatives. Pictures for files of genealogy information. Copies so that next time she wanted to give someone pictures, she wouldn't need to have copies made. Copies so she could keep the original. Pictures that weren't that great, but it was the only picture she had of that subject, so best make a few copies just in case.  Mom is obsessing about the pictures. There's boxes, envelops, albums, pictures stacked up in piles, pictures in frames, negatives, scrapbooks, binders, and somehow, Mom appears to have saved the majority of the pictures I took in 1988. I was 11 and wanted to be a photographer. She will ask if I got them all. I will answer, and she'll ask if I got the pictures on the bookcase. I will say yes. She will ask six more ...

  Good morning, my dears. I finished the crow. He's now in my sketch book.  I also made an art quilt with stars, but I am not completely done.  And I made a mirror for my cousin who says her sister has voodoo dolls of her. She needed something to turn away negative energy. I'm thinking of making voodoo dolls because people are getting on my last damn nerve.  I am really annoyed with my in-laws. First, my mother-in-law called my husband to ask if they could borrow MY truck. The one I own because I paid for it, and I drive it daily. Mother-in-law never talks to me directly.  Hubby said his parents were going to get plywood. Back in February, his mother went out of town and his father decided that would be the perfect time to remodel the bathroom. Except, he didn't remodel anything, he just ripped the old bathroom out, leaving a giant hole in the house.  He then spent a ridiculous amount of time carefully measuring boards, then cutting them to exact lengths.  I realized I already have several spell pages. I use this one every time I open the book, to activate my personal Majick. This page has power because I use it over and over. This is a protection spell that I have been using for decades.  I have many more pages that are spells. I wanted to show them, but Blogger is stupid, especially when I try to write posts on my phone. Eventually, it won't let me add pictures because it doesn't show me all the tools, nor will it allow me to scroll down and add more words. I added my best possible outcome to my book of shadows, along with a new spell that I am calling bring order to chaos. I figured out that I already have art for a couple of seasonal spells. I would like to create more pages for moons and holidays. I think if I already have the spell, I will be more likely to do something  on the day. I think I need to at least go through the motions. It's sort of like brushing your teeth once won't save you from cavities, but doing ...

 I'm tired, my dears. A lot is going on. Because of my mother, I've been forced to talk to cops twice this week.  First, I dressed like a conservative southern lady because I had some sketchy shit to do. My mother would not fill out the tax exemption form. She thought it was a bill. She insisted that she was exempt. I could not make her understand that in order to stay exempt, she would need to fill out the form. Since she refused, I filled it out for her, then forged her signature. Then I put on my black dress and my cross necklace, and tried to look like a righteous lady on a mission. Unfortunately, once at the courthouse, I couldn't figure out which room I needed to be in. So I asked the deputies because they were the only people around.  Generally, I don't like cops. My oldest son is a felon. Whenever the cops don't have any leads, they come to my house and ask if I've seen my oldest. I will say no, he's in jail. They will then ask if I'm SURE he...

  This week, I have been repainting the bookcase in the living room. We store shoes and bags on it. It was rather ugly because it's an old set of shelves that has belonged to other family members, and thus was painted at least three different colors. Before I applied a clear coat, I painted a dragon and Celtic knots to the bottom. Now that the bookcase is back in the house, I will activate the dragon for protection. The whole bookcase acts as a charging station so that we are protected wherever we go. This is much easier than trying to charge each pair of shoes, or remembering to keep active anti-theft charms on laptops. Or adding dragon majick to business spells. Or remembering to ask for luck, blessings, and opportunities. Work smarter, not harder.  Being that the bookcase is in the living room, I can renew the spell weekly when I clean. I can also add to the spell. We seem to have leveled up in prosperity, but it isn't constant. This gives me another layer of dragon wealth,...

  I don't think I am going to be able to write anymore of the Witches & Majick Series. I probably won't be able to do my Mabon version either. It is a good idea, one that I would like to revisit in the future. We now return to our regular scheduled posts. My apologies.
