 It's not easy to make friends. Even if you find someone with similar interests, you still have several barriers to work around. The higher the social awkwardness, the more barriers. And then the other person has barriers like a job, time constraints, family obligations, or medical conditions sapping energy. So even if you find a possible friend, and even if everything is aligned to go smoothly, the two of you might not form a connection.  I saw a Witch on Lemon8 looking for a pen pal. Okay, that would be cool. I like getting letters. I decided to check out her account.  She seemed more or less like me. I liked a few of her posts. I answered the pen pal post, giving my age and location. She followed me. I followed back.  I was not going to jump straight to sending letters because I don't just give out my home address.   I have invented a new curse. The technique isn't new, but I have never heard of anyone doing this. I am going to say it's my spell. I did it in my garden using my situation. I absolutely loathe these worms. They rapidly eat all the leaves off tomato plants. Let one worm stay in the morning and by evening the tomatoes plants are nothing but bare vines. I found DOZENS today.  Normally, I feed horn worms to my chickens. They will gleefully rip worms in half as they fight to gobble them up. Chickens think horn worms are tasty. I don't think the chickens can see the worms on the vines, as the worms look like tomato leaves.  If my chickens aren't around, I just squish them. Today, before stepping on them, I named the worms after enemies. I mostly named people who have taken too much from me. I had more horn worms than enemies, so a few people were named several times.  As I killed horn worms, I said that my enemies would never take from me again. I feel this curse works ...

 Several months ago, when I did one of the Tesseract spells, I asked for my husband to be the head of his department. And I didn't specify. I just took it for granted that it would happen at the place where he was then employed. Instead he got fired. The person in that position realized my husband was more than qualified to take the job. He got scared.  The last 8 months have been filled with dramatic change. More than once, I thought things would never be alright again. My husband got a new job. He starts Monday. He will be the director of maintenance. That's the job I wanted him to get. It just didn't occur to me that the position might be better with a different company.  Some perks- He gets to set the hours and work schedule. Eventually he will be able to hire the people he wants to work with.  He can set up the shop as he wants it.  Less stress. This new job probably means at some point, I will be working there too.  Good afternoon, my dears. I don't think I will be able to write on the full moon, so I am getting an early start. I want to talk about my garden. We got a pool. I love the pool. I swim almost daily for exercise. This is great because I get a full body, low impact workout. I can exercise with minimal neck pain. The bad part is the pool is too close to my garden. You can still see the tomatoes are much too close to the pool. I have moved three of my green fence panels. I lined them up near my kitchen window. This makes the garden longer. When I moved one of my bottle trees, I did a spell. This tree is for protection. I added a small metal bottle opener to the tree. The bottle opener is shaped like an alligator. I gave him a name and a task. That created a definite energy shift. The garden has more energy now. Not just the energy of growing plants. The garden feels more like a place of power now.  I have cast other spells as I move things. I am going to make another bottle tree....
