Trying New Majicks

I have mentioned before that I plant by the signs. This means I track the moon daily. Some signs are great for planting and others are barren. I started gardening this way about three years ago. My gardens have mostly been successful. Sometimes one or two plants die, but the rest of the garden thrives.

This is how I track the moon. I have an app, of course, but seeing things on paper really helps. This is my life control binder, where I keep up with schedules, menus, appointments, birthdays, and social security numbers.

Then I got an idea. Why not apply more spells? So I printed out my natal chart.

It is on the reserve side of my Zodiac wheel where I track the moon. I have numbered my houses for easy reference and colored the planets. There is a magnetic sheet between the two charts. Eventually I will add magnets to my chart. I need more notes, like what the houses mean or what to work for during signs. This is a great deal of information. I have a hard time remembering it all.

I used to do Zodiac spells in my 20's, but I just had the lid of a cardboard box divided into sections with Zodiac gliphs. I didn't pay much attention to where the moon was. I would put crystals in whichever section I thought would help my spell. Sometimes I burned candles. It was mostly hit and miss. I couldn't tell if it worked.

I decided to talk about my spellwork now rather than on the last quarter because first I don't know how well the spells will work, and second I think this month's last quarter will occur around Mabon. I know I will be writing the Witches & Majick Series then. I will talk about this more in the series. I think my main theme will be how I do Majick. I hope the series will be helpful.

Blessed be, my dears. Stay safe and well. Don't let fascists win. Resist.
