The Day After the Election

I am disgusted. Not surprised. The results do no surprise me at all. I feel sick at heart.

I have been cleaning and warding EVERYTHING. My whole house, everything I touch, I put a ward on it. I foresee braiding my hair daily. I already had a charm on my ankle to remove blocks, but I think I should make a new cord for it and amp up the protection.

I decided to take a social media break, at least until Monday. I really don't want to see the MAGA Trumpers smugly gloating. I don't even think most of them voted. I did not stand in line more than five minutes at the polls yesterday. There were a lot of women, and that gave me hope, but I forgot about powers that be casting electoral college votes. I live in Alabama. At every election, I am told Alabama is a red state. Then I see that between 75 to 80 percent of voters voted Democrat. We are decidedly blue, but our state representatives are mostly Republican and they ALWAYS give all our electoral votes to the Republican candidate. Always. Regardless of how the people voted. Most of the candidates on my ballot were running unopposed. ALL of the ones without an opponent were Republican. Every time I vote, I feel like crying.
