Last Quarter Completed Projects

 Since I am planning to do life updates on the first quarter, maybe I should show completed projects on the last quarter.

First up, I made a fox magnet. This is simply a wood cutout that I painted, then I glued magnets to the back. I listed it in my shop this morning. And then I got hit with a spam message, so that's annoying. If you don't want to buy anything, don't bother me. 

I have cross stitch pattern software. I uploaded one of my drawings. Since the lines weren't very dark, the software did not produce a complete pattern. It also laid out my dragon in shades of gray, cream, and white. I have converted everything to black. Now I need to fill in blank spaces. This may be the best way to work on my quilt coloring book. I designed the coloring book decades ago, but I never did anything with it. Now I think I might like to make two books- one coloring book and one book on how to make the actual block, and maybe even a some needlework patterns. I have multiple interests in varying textile arts, and I think other people do too. 

I am very happy I can convert my drawings into needlework designs. The old way is to draw/color everything on graph paper which is tedious. You also must outline the design first, in case you make a mistake. Trying to erase colored pencil is about like trying to erase crayon or ink. Some of the medium will always be on the paper. 

But if I mess up on a computer, I can easily undo the mark. The rest of the process is still a bit tedious. I haven't used the program in several years, and it took a while to remember how it worked, and even longer for me to be comfortable using it. 

I also got an artist portfolio. I added my dragon to the cover. This is the dragon I chose to be my logo. He will be on banners, cards, and whatever else I need to indicate it's my art being sold or shown. 

I have horse art in an exhibition called "Paperworks." The opening reception is Thursday.

Moon in Gemini & Airport Opportunities

 I have been trying to remember what I was doing 14 years ago, since the eclipse ended and, then, Neptune entered Pisces. I think I started a new job back then, but it wasn't my dream job. Now Neptune has entered Aries.  Oddly enough, yesterday my husband asked me to take some business courses. He is thinking about going into business for himself, and wants me to be his office manager. I can do that. I don't mind. But it's not the job I want.  I have noticed over the years that I tend to start jobs in the spring, especially in April. When it's Aries season, I guess.  I haven't noticed when my husband typically starts new jobs, but while we were at the airport yesterday, the site manager asked my husband if he was interested in building a hanger and setting up a repair station. Last Quarter

 Today is the moon is 60% in Scorpio, which is a wonderful sign for making things bear fruit. Now, of course, when the moon shrinks, we let go. Is there some small thing holding you back, stopping you? Some minor detail tripping you up, or preventing you from reaching your goal? Today is the day to overcome it. I am going to do a road opener spell. I have a few blocks that I have not dealt with because life has been overwhelming as of late.  I think a long term friendship has ended. It ended a while ago, but I kept trying to rekindle the connection. Yesterday, she told me she was 'stepping back' because hearing about my problems was 'too stressful.' Well, fuck. Imagine how stressful it is to live with those problems. I asked what she was stepping back from, as she wasn't present in my life. She said she just had to say something; she couldn't be silent about how bad things are.  Except, she didn't say anything, other than this situation was stressing her. Sh...

Fine Tuning the Tesseract

 Good morning, my dears. Today is Wednesday and the last quarter moon is in the sign of Pisces, which means it has been about a month since I wrote down everything I wanted to do with the Tesseract spell. I read some of my older posts yesterday and realized a few things. First, nothing happened. Then several small things changed and I realized maybe it is working. Then I decided to renew the spell whenever the moon is in Capricorn since that's my sun sign. However, now I think the full moon is a better time. Of course, being that this is a complex spell, it might be better if I work/renew as needed. Or maybe I need a couple of days to prepare. It took me a week to figure out how to do the tesseract spell. I did find a very nice book box at Michael's. I think I will keep the spell, and my notes, in this box, which will be cleverly hidden on my bookcase.  I also found a diagram featuring a very different drawing. This one is more star shaped. I use geometry often in my practice....
