Tuesday Recaps

Good morning, my dears. I hope all of you are well. I feel better overall, though I occasionally get hit by one of my many medical conditions.

The endocrinologist now has me taking my long lasting insulin in the morning. Every couple of years, a doctor will suggest that I take insulin in the morning, or midday. It makes me feel sick. All day long, I will want to vomit, but I never throw up. It's sort of like having morning sickness.

The first day that I went to morning insulin injections, my sugar dropped every two hours, regardless of what I ate. It was horrible. I am not supposed to drive if my sugar drops below 70. I stayed in the 45-60 range. So the next day, I took less insulin, which didn't help much. I have discovered taking insulin in the mornings makes me cold and sleepy. I am slowly experimenting to figure out amount/time. And this will go on until my sugars start doing something different; then my endo will ask why I am taking insulin in the morning when I should be taking it at night before bed.

My husband did not get the new job. For the sake of budget, they went with a less qualified person who could be paid less, though they may still call him in to work on big jobs. The company wanted him, but they care about their bottom line more. My husband has decided to file a lawsuit against his old job. He is currently working with an aviation company that he worked for a few years back. The pay is about half what he was making. He is looking for another job.

I had a phone job interview last night. I was hesitant because the description sounded too good. And it was- commissions only insurance sales. There was not one word about sales in the job listing.

I am still trying to break free of the freezer curse. That spell was going on for years; it dug in deep into my life. I am also dreaming about her, so I think she may also be feeling effects, and may subconsciously reach out. I also dreamed of her sister, which reaffirms the idea that she helped to bind me. I haven't tried to break ties with the sister; that may be the reason this spell still lingers.

Something hit one of my wards. I used an angel statue and a mirror. The statue was tilted back and the mirror looked discolored. The ward seems to be still working, though it is obvious it deflected an attack. I do not know what the attack was or who sent it. Discovering magickal attack is sort of like finding scratches around the door's lock- you know someone tried to come in, but you don't know why they wanted in your house. So you add a deadbolt or security lights and you become more aware of your surroundings. I would start hexing, if I knew who to target. My ward could have been hit by a non-magickal person feeling spiteful.

I cleaned my kitchen altar today. Again, I had several cobwebs in the corners. This might be a sign to work with spiders. I have also found a couple of dead bugs in the house. The spiders are protecting me.

I decided instead of trying to save my father's vineyard, I will create a new one. Most of his vines are dead. When I find something living, I can move it to my vineyard. I also decided to start planting blackberry bushes so I can make blackberry wine. I have drawn plans for the new vineyard, but I haven't measured the field, so I am not sure how well my design will work. My retirement plan is still to open a winery. I've also started thinking about the orchard and where I can plant new trees. My second oldest son really wants in on this. He wants to grow lavender. I think we can plant lavender under the vines and fruit trees.

Art is going very well. I was able to show someone the skull magnets and she loved them. I think they will do well at the Craft Fair. DollarGeneral, of all places, has t-shirt transfer sheets. Now I can make things with my logo, like a sales apron/money belt. Bonus, as I make this, I can add in a prosperity spell. Win-win!

That's about all for now. I will do another post on the first quarter moon which is March 6. Blessed be, Stay safe and well.
