Waxing Crescent in Taurus
Taurus is not my favorite sign. I'm not sure what irks me, other than I once was friends with a very stubborn Taurus. Perhaps I should make new friends, find a Taurus with better qualities, rather than write off a whole Zodiac sign.
Stubborn things persist today. Business piles up. It has been raining off and on for the last 24 hours, so my neck hurts. Which makes my head hurt. I foresee a lot of time with the heating pad.
In new projects, I decided to make a pinecone quilt. I am starting small. I don't think I could crawl around on the floor stitching down fabric triangles. I will make one the 'right' way, and then I will begin experimenting to find what works for me.
Supposedly, my computer is completely repaired now. That means I can design more cross stitch patterns. I put this off for the longest because IT guy took my software disk. He refused to believe that he had it, then I had to wait for him to bring it back. Of course, the two designs I were working on did not save. I was really annoyed about starting over. One design I got to print out, but the other was countless hours of drawing with the mouse.
My desk is still in a mess. I am not sure why he had to move all my folders, notes, and sketch book. And then he put them back in the wrong order. My dictionaries seem off; he may have moved all my reference books as well. He also opened a desk drawer. I know this because he didn't close it. Certainly, there is nothing pertaining to the hard drive in the drawer where I keep art supplies. Fucking snoop.
The Craft Fair is in one week. This week, I will begin packing up what I'm selling, and making inventory lists. I will set up my booth on Friday, the day before the Fair.
I have been struggling to work in the studio. I wanted to move a set of metal shelves, but I am too weak to budge it, let alone push the shelves across the room. I decided the shelves would stay put for now.
I did some gardening. The pollen count is extremely high. Every time I am outside, my eyes start to itch. Thankfully, the rain pushed pollen to the ground, where it is less annoying. I have been given another trampoline frame. I decided to make a greenhouse. I cleared a spot for it, then started sorting the pieces. Earlier in March, when we had freezing temps, I put my orange trees next door in my in-laws greenhouse. I do not like that arrangement. They don't take care of anything, but expected me to completely clear the bramble vines. I only cleared enough space for my plants. I refuse to clean the entire greenhouse when I am only borrowing space for two nights. Nothing else is in the greenhouse, by the way. I expect I will 'owe rent' when my trees begin bearing fruit. Some noise was made over my apple tree, even though it's cold hardy and has never left my yard. I do not like living next door to my in-laws.
Blessed be, my dears. Stay safe and well.
