Full Moon in Libra

 Libra rules balance, communication, and partnerships. I decided it was a great time to do a spell involving my home computer. I have been thinking of treating my computer as a cauldron of sorts, because I put things in like art and photos, which then get transformed into art, stickers, and social media posts. I have been doing alchemy for years unawares. 

Step one is to clean the desk. My desk is near the front door and people tend to drop things here rather than 

walk a few more steps.

I never did put my notebooks back after the dummy failed to install my hard drive. When I moved these, intending to turn them spines out, I discovered vents on the tower that probably shouldn't be covered.

Next, I started cleaning behind the computer. 

This area is very dusty. 

I found a flashlight that I didn't know about.

At this point, I started thinking maybe I should clean the couch. It is against the back of my desk, and I want a clean place to rest so my work won't become stressful. I discovered my granddaughter has been stuffing toys in the couch cushions. 

When all of this was done, I was tired. I haven't cleaned much of the desk, and I haven't done actual spell work. I barely started. There's no rest for the wicked. I don't consider myself a wicked witch, but obviously I am not living an easy life.

First, I put my lightbox back in place. There are sigils underneath to promote magic in my art.

I wanted to put a picture of my mat, which also has sigils, but for some dumb reason, blogger won't let me add the photo to this spot.

I put most of my sketchbooks and project notebooks in the drawer. This should prevent busybodies from snooping.

I also re-organized my books, leaving plenty of space next to the tower for air to circulate through the vents. I did not attempt pictures since blogger isn't inclined to let me post my own photos on my blog.

I still need to clean the rest of the drawers. I decided to put my art portfolio in a drawer because I noticed the label I made for it is horribly dirty. Not sure how much of the dirt is from general use, from my granddaughter's little hands, or if that all happened when the busybody went through my desk. I also found projects I had forgotten about. 

And I still haven't talked about my spell. I don't want to show you, because I don't want to reveal how I am working, but I will say I used a spell for success in business, and I added protection magic. I will start doing some gesture to activate the magic whenever I sit at my desk. Think of it like turning on the stove to cook. I will stir my cauldron so to speak, before promoting my art. I may write another post about this later. Maybe at the next full moon I can give an update on how things are going.
