The Library
I am very happy with the way this turned out. I am not done; I intend to paint the bookcases black. I wanted to paint before I moved everything, but when I started, there was a 35% chance of rain all week. I was very tired to waiting.
I haven't done anything with the other side of the room. Originally, I was going to replace these bunk beds with a loft bed- full mattress on bottom and a twin at the top. But that was when my grandchildren were living here. We do not need more beds now. Then I decided to buy the better beds anyway, in case my daughter wanted to have a sleep over, or if family came to visit. Then I actually thought about what kind of family we have, and I don't want them in my house. If they have a comfortable bed to sleep in, they might stay for an extended period of time. So the more I think about it, the more I'd rather get rid of the bunk beds and not replace them with anything else. Now I'm thinking of putting sewing machines in this corner.
But going back to this picture. I have started doing rocking meditations. Rocking chairs are great for creating rhythm. I find it difficult to sit completely sit. Walking meditations have always worked well for me. Sometimes I move my hands or trace patterns to direct energy. After meditating, I move over to the desk for journaling. I tried writing in the rocking chair, but it's too awkward.
Tomorrow, I will show you some of my tools for majick. Blessed be. Stay safe and well.
