Flying

 I have started flying lessons. I haven't actually gotten in the plane yet. I am doing what is called ground work. I have ordered a pilot's logbook, because I need to keep a record of learning. The logbook stays with me. I am thinking of carrying around my sketchbook too, since this is how I combat stress. I may just carrying around a bookbag full of books like I am a college student again. 

In other updates, the body shop estimates repairs to my mother's truck will exceed the value of the car, so state farm has declared a total loss. I think this is the solution to my problems. No truck = no driving. Because my mother hasn't been driving for three weeks, there was only one bag of trash yesterday. It wasn't even full. This is great.

In art, I am struggling. I am trying to make more stars for the craft fair. It's hard to focus. I decided not to do a spring show because I think I will be too busy. I found mirrored trim for my canopy, so I won't have to make anything! I haven't bought the canopy yet. 

My plants seem to be doing fine without much attention from me. That's great because I haven't had much chance to garden. I have morning glories coming up! This morning I realized I forgot to plant peppers. I'm going to be way behind. This might be yet another year without pepper sauce or pepper jelly. Last year, tomato horn worms ate my plants. I thought they only ate tomatoes. I was furious. 

My husband is tired of buying lettuce for our rabbit. I am willing grow rabbit food, but right now it is a bit too cold. The rabbit is now using a bucket of dirt as her bathroom, which is great, both because it cuts down on mess/smell and it gives me compost. I may give her a bigger bucket. 

I have to buy clothes because I am required to look professional to fly, even as a student. Dresses and skirts aren't allowed. I don't own a single pair of slacks. I haven't needed to dress professionally in years. I had no idea planes would mean a wardrobe update.

Moon in Gemini & Airport Opportunities

 I have been trying to remember what I was doing 14 years ago, since the eclipse ended and, then, Neptune entered Pisces. I think I started a new job back then, but it wasn't my dream job. Now Neptune has entered Aries.  Oddly enough, yesterday my husband asked me to take some business courses. He is thinking about going into business for himself, and wants me to be his office manager. I can do that. I don't mind. But it's not the job I want.  I have noticed over the years that I tend to start jobs in the spring, especially in April. Fine Tuning the Tesseract

 Good morning, my dears. Today is Wednesday and the last quarter moon is in the sign of Pisces, which means it has been about a month since I wrote down everything I wanted to do with the Tesseract spell. I read some of my older posts yesterday and realized a few things. First, nothing happened. Then several small things changed and I realized maybe it is working. Then I decided to renew the spell whenever the moon is in Capricorn since that's my sun sign. However, now I think the full moon is a better time. Of course, being that this is a complex spell, it might be better if I work/renew as needed. Or maybe I need a couple of days to prepare. It took me a week to figure out how to do the tesseract spell. I did find a very nice book box at Michael's. I think I will keep the spell, and my notes, in this box, which will be cleverly hidden on my bookcase.  I also found a diagram featuring a very different drawing. This one is more star shaped. I use geometry often in my practice....

Spring Equinox

 Good morning, my dears. I should have written yesterday, but I got a bit involved with cleaning and getting out decorations. Every year I make an egg tree. This year, I will be using a tree in my garden, rather than one in the yard. I will write a separate post about this later.  When I got up yesterday, it was about 73 degrees. Then it got colder. I have several orange trees. I didn't want them to die in the cold, but since ants have moved into all the pots, I didn't want to bring them into the house. I cleaned out a small section of my in-laws' greenhouse.  Last Tuesday was very warm. I put all the trees in my garden. I told each orange trees to protect my happiness. This is an important detail. Yesterday, on the Equinox, I put the orange trees charged with protecting my happiness, in the greenhouse next door.  This morning, my father-in-law texted me to say my sister-in-law is in the ER, maybe it's her appendix.
