New Moon in Aquarius

Tomorrow A LOT is happening. It's my husband's birthday. It's the Chinese New Year. The moon will still be new. The sun moves into the sign of Aquarius. I think it's Mardi Gras, meaning it's almost Lent, which I don't celebrate because I don't like giving up things that make life enjoyable, and if I am giving up a bad habit, I feel like after 40 days without, I'd be free. For me, Lent is more of a reminder that the Wheel stills turns. There's also several planets moving into Aries. It is the beginning of eclipse season. So as if the world isn't chaotic enough, prepare for even more. yay.

But on the new moon, I draw a card to see what I should focus on. This time I got:

28. Feverfew. The card was reversed, but for some reason, my camera decided to turn the image sideways. I think the difficult time that I am already going through is my mother. This may be indicating a resource that I have overlooked.

Since I got up to take pictures of the card for the new moon reading, I took more pictures around my house.
Spell to make two people fight. One of them has been up my ass. I forgot when people are not getting along, they tend to redirect their focus to others. They are trying to fill in the gap. I'm going to keep shaking the bottle for a while.
The curtain I am adding hexagons to.
I have made several more hexagons, but I haven't sewn them on.
My husband restocked my wine. I love him so much.
A better picture of the fabric I am using to make the hexagons.
This is one of my genteel stars. The genteel stars sold amazingly well last year. This one wasn't finished in time for the 2025 craft fair. I have been struggling with this star because I keep sewing the trees in the wrong direction. I will be so glad when I finish this damn thing that I may not make another ever again.

I figured out my money table/crate set up including how to hide the fact that I will be standing behind three wooden crates. I figured out my product display, and how to attach banners/signs to my tent. I also figured out how to make a strip of mirrors, but I haven't made these yet. I have decided on my main costume, butterfly wings and a red mask, but I haven't decided on clothes yet, other than I will dress in layers since I will be outside.

I am also thinking about wearing one of my crosses because people seem more drawn to Xians. I'm a Witch, not a church goer, but I use crosses as camouflage. I wore a cross when I went to vote and I was able to walk into the building unharrassed because the bigots pushing pro-life in the parking lot thought I was one of them. Abortion wasn't on the ballot. The fundies show up at every election to be loud about something, and I think that bears weight in people's minds even if they aren't voting on those issues. They might think they should vote by a certain party and I wish the people who want freedom, fairness, and transparency would do the same thing.

I am supposed to start flying lessons. My husband tried to arrange this on my birthday, but it took two weeks to get approved. Then I started struggling to clean my mother's house, then I had a meltdown, then she had a car accident. I haven't talked to my instructor.

I also issued an ultimatum about restoring my '65 Mustang. I need a dry place to work. The carport has been cleaned out, but the car hasn't moved.

To center myself, I have been spending a lot of time in the garden. I have planted morning glories. It's too damn cold. Even though we are having warm, spring-like days, I know without a doubt that there will be at least one more hard frost. I planted the seeds anyway. If the vines die, I will plant more.

I will try to post more of the things I am making for the craft fair in another post.

Blessed be, my dears. Stay safe and well and steady.
