Multiple Benefits

 

Yesterday I hung this up. I paid for it last night. It doesn't look like much, but it involved lots of climbing and reaching. I am not 19 anymore, so my neck and shoulders ached. I hung this up to block the mess on the porch. I intended to move my husband's toolbox, but after I got this halfway up, I realized I had grabbed a sunshade instead of a tarp. I just kept going. 

Almost immediately, it dropped the temperature of the porch several degrees. That alone was worth doing. The porch is now more private. I think I can probably do Witchcraft out here now. At the very least, I can read Tarot. I have been wanting to do spells on the porch because the porch is a between place. 

I only wanted to cover up the mess, but the sunshade has many benefits. From the window, I can see the yard, but anyone in the yard can't see me at the window. They might be able to see me on the porch if the light was on. I haven't tested this. 

I moved my orchids to the porch, but I didn't put them where I wanted to because I thought the late afternoon sun was too bright. This solves the problem. The sunshade does a fair job of blocking misting rain. I don't think I can safely move the toolbox and leave it permanently against the railing, but I can move the toolbox long enough to sweep. I still need to get rid of some items. I'm going to do that today. 

I had to move the lanterns that were hanging on the porch. I turned them into a spell so other Witches could find me if they need my help. I will show you that later. It's raining in my part of the world. 

Pretty soon, I will have a wonderful, private place for Majick. I'm very happy with how it all turned out. Blessed be, my dears. Stay safe and well.

 Good afternoon, my dears. I am struggling today. I had several allergic reactions last night. The combo of lacking sleep and antihistamines has me dragging. I did a spell to remove the allergens. Spring Equinox

 Good morning, my dears. I should have written yesterday, but I got a bit involved with cleaning and getting out decorations. Every year I make an egg tree. This year, I will be using a tree in my garden, rather than one in the yard. I will write a separate post about this later.  When I got up yesterday, it was about 73 degrees. Then it got colder. I have several orange trees. I didn't want them to die in the cold, but since ants have moved into all the pots, I didn't want to bring them into the house. I cleaned out a small section of my in-laws' greenhouse.  Last Tuesday was very warm. I put all the trees in my garden. I told each orange trees to protect my happiness. This is an important detail. Yesterday, on the Equinox, I put the orange trees charged with protecting my happiness, in the greenhouse next door.  This morning, my father-in-law texted me to say my sister-in-law is in the ER, maybe it's her appendix. Keep Going

 I didn't finish packing up Youngest Son's clothes yesterday. Still shirts left. Also socks, underwear, and shorts, but those aren't in the closet. I thought both these totes were the same, but the top one is bigger. The bottom tote is jeans and the top is all shirts. I started wondering if I should re-pack these, but then I decided all the clothes still wouldn't fit, so never mind.  Blessed be, my dears. Stay safe and warm.
