Another One

 

Technically, this happened when the cat knocked over my plant ward. It's not new. The angel guards. The jar is a spell to keep my enemies entangled in their own problems so they can't bother me. But I have carefully considered all my protective spells and I believe this one is keeping people tied to me. It works great for family members I can't avoid or for inconsiderate neighbors. Most of the problematic family have moved away, and I now have a well defined property line, so I don't think I need the jar anymore. I dumped the threads onto the burn pile. Most of the thread is synthetic and cannot be composted. I washed the jar, then put it in my greenhouse. I can use the jar as a terrarium. I cleaned the mirror, then reset the angel. I moved the plant to a different window. 

I hope this is the end of my wards being hit for a while. Things are chilled a bit since I added in the distract/forget charms, other than the first push back. That's the way protective majick works- you set a boundary, someone has got to test it. Stand firm.

 Good afternoon, my dears. I am struggling today. I had several allergic reactions last night. The combo of lacking sleep and antihistamines has me dragging. I did a spell to remove the allergens. Enough already.  I am making lots of notes, so that when I am able to think, I will have a list of things to do. Keep Going

 I didn't finish packing up Youngest Son's clothes yesterday. Still shirts left. Also socks, underwear, and shorts, but those aren't in the closet. I thought both these totes were the same, but the top one is bigger. The bottom tote is jeans and the top is all shirts. I started wondering if I should re-pack these, but then I decided all the clothes still wouldn't fit, so never mind.  Blessed be, my dears. Stay safe and warm.

Effects of the Tesseract

 Several months ago, when I did one of the Tesseract spells, I asked for my husband to be the head of his department. And I didn't specify. I just took it for granted that it would happen at the place where he was then employed. Instead he got fired. The person in that position realized my husband was more than qualified to take the job. He got scared.  The last 8 months have been filled with dramatic change. More than once, I thought things would never be alright again. My husband got a new job. He starts Monday. He will be the director of maintenance. That's the job I wanted him to get. It just didn't occur to me that the position might be better with a different company.  Some perks- He gets to set the hours and work schedule. Eventually he will be able to hire the people he wants to work with.  He can set up the shop as he wants it.  Less stress. This new job probably means at some point, I will be working there too.
