Library Improvement

 Good morning, my dears. All week, I have been cleaning the library.

I managed to get the biggest bookcase into the corner with the least amount of sunlight. Somehow, despite taking every book off carefully, and then adding books to the top where there were no books previously, I ran out of room. I don't really know how to explain this. But the books are better organized now.

I put the cabinet I am using as a greenhouse in the opposite corner. I have decided to put my crystal collection at the bottom.

And then I had a fucked up dream about one of my in-laws looking for reasons to confront me, even though in the dream I wasn't bothering her. I feel like drama is building, so I decided to set up a working altar. I have other altars, but I believe I need to go on the defensive before problems arise. The other day, my husband mentioned the group that likes to gossip. Obviously, the group didn't dissolve, or they have since regrouped to flap their ignorant gums. It's been weeks since I did the forget/distract spell. 

The next stage of the library reset is to move this bookcase...

over here. I am sure I will need to move the table with the 3D printers first, which means moving the sewing machine. I still have a lot of work to do.

I am also thinking about writing a post showcasing some of my majickal tools. I have some that don't really fit into traditional Witchcraft tools, but I use them almost every day. I think it's fun to see how other people practice. I have learned more by watching tiktok videos than by reading books. I see a lot of bullshit too, but I think the bullshit is outweighed by helpful tips. 

I will not write the Witches & Majick Series this year. I am exhausted. I will try to post some pictures, but I don't think I can manage daily posts for a month and a half. Usually, I start writing these much earlier in the year. This year, I didn't get a chance. Too much happened. I like the series, so I will probably revist the idea in the future.

 Good afternoon, my dears. I am struggling today. I had several allergic reactions last night. The combo of lacking sleep and antihistamines has me dragging. I did a spell to remove the allergens. Enough already.  I am making lots of notes, so that when I am able to think, I will have a list of things to do. Fuck Me Running

 My dears, it has been hell. On Monday, Aug. 17, I took my mother to the bank, then to pay her phone bill. That was a headache.  Monday night, I had an allergic reaction. Not only did my throat start to close, but my chest felt tight.  Around midnight, I started vomiting. I thought it was stress.  I was sick all day Tuesday. I did not get out of bed. I did not take insulin. Wednesday I was still vomiting, but the vomit smelled like sugar. My husband took me to the hospital. I stayed in ICU until late Thursday. I was having trouble swallowing. Friday, I figured out I could eat really slowly and take small bites. Not that I really ate much.  On Saturday, I forced myself to eat so I could go home.  All week, I have been struggling. I think my blood pressure is now too low, because I randomly get lightheaded. I move slowly. I am tired often.  I did make a point of cleaning off the piano, though I haven't felt like playing. The Witches & Majick Series Spring Edition Day 2

  Good morning, my dears! It's Day 2 and today's block is the Churn Dash. This block originated in the early 1800's, and it is meant to look like a butter churn. I know very few people churn their own butter, so here is a picture: Milk is poured into the jug, and the wooden thing, called a dash, stirs the milk, making it separate. Churning milk is necessary for making butter, cream, buttermilk, and cheese. Because there was no refrigeration, churning would have been a near daily chore.  Like most quilt blocks, this one has many names, such as through the barn door, and monkey wrench. Being that this block on based on a 9 patch grid, it also has many variations. Here is a two tone example. And here is a small star inside the churn dash.  Supposedly, this quilt was used in the Underground Railroad as a signal to gather supplies.
